WHEN & WHERE
Berlin's Best Beer Tasting Tour
Germans are famous for their beer, and with good reason. In fact Germany’s laws on what makes beer beer are more than 300 years older than the country itself! 100 years ago Berlin had more breweries than any other city on the planet. After what can only be described as a pretty rough relationship with the 20th Century, Berlin’s beer scene is back!
Thankfully today Berlin’s beer scene is back with a vengeance. Thus we send out the call to all hopheads, beer freaks or just those with a humble respect for a nice cold beverage of an evening, to come and bathe in Berlin’s beer history and soak up (responsibly, of course) the burgeoning craft beer scene that’s mushrooming in the modern city. We’ll sample brews from all over the town at three different bars, whilst munching on a big, fat, salty pretzel or several and chatting about the mechanics of beer and beer tasting, Germany’s spiritual connection with malt, hops, water and yeast, Berlin’s rocky road to craft beer kingship and more.
Book now to avoid disappointment! Limited to 15 places per tour.
This is a beer tasting tour, not a pub crawl.
IMPORTANT! MEETING POINT INFORMATION! IMPORTANT!
The meeting point for this tour is outside the front of the 'Back Factory' bakery on Rosenthaler Platz, accessible by the U8 subway line and various tram lines. Your ticket will send you to our history tour meeting point, which is great for seeing the sites, but not as great for beers. Please go to the Back Factory at Rosenthaler Platz. Apologies for the inconvenience, we're working on a solution.
Go to Rosenthaler Platz, drink beers, have an awesome time. Easy!
If you're on this page then we'd hazard a guess that you're the kind of person that knows that the best way to experience a new place is through your tastebuds. The perfect pairing to an evening of Berlin's Best Booze? Berlin's best food tour! The Original Berlin Walks Food Crawl starts at 12:00 every Friday and Saturday this summer. Click here to book now.
Don't worry, you’ll have plenty of time afterwards to check out a museum, head home to freshen up, and then join the Craft Beer and Breweries Tour.
